Dear Oosterbeek,

We haven’t been gone for long, But already sent you this card because, after us leaving, we hope you’re doing well.
Thank you for the market, expensive coffee and kind people with exciting stories to tell
And stories they told, and stories they had,
funny ones, quirky ones, and others quite sad
Stories of bullets, angels, and war.
Does Oosterbeek exist in history, or is there maybe more?
As a theatre student, I like the stories of heroes and of fame
But which of those heroes and heroic spirit does in Oosterbeek still remain?

We asked the kids in Oosterbeek, who were playing on the street.
Who is the most Heroic person, you ever had the pleasure to meet?
My mom is my hero they yelled in reply and she will always be.
They were so sure, and nice and so sweet. but this answer interested me.
Wil your mom still be your hero, when she is angry and mad? When she sends you to bed way before nine?

As long as she will read to me and kiss me goodnight. she always will be mine.
we went on to the lady of the Airborne walk, we drank thee and ask.
do you think that Oosterbeek lives too much in her past?

not knowing which answer we wanted to get we hoped she could tell us more.
she sat us down, spoke wise words and it made us think like we didn’t think before.

The stories of then are important, it creates the ground where we stand on right now.
still, you have to be critical. and think do these stores allow you to live in the moment. and pay attention to the wars which are being fought even if these wars are not in your home town but existing way abroad.
we collected those stories and we created the postcards and made the word's rhyme
anyhow Oosterbeek,

this is a long story we hope you’re doing fine.
